Getting started with the free Sitejet website builder

Sitejet Builder comes free with your Trinico Cloud cPanel hosting. It lets you build your own website by picking a ready-made design and changing the words, pictures and colours, with no coding. You open it from your client area or from cPanel, choose a template, edit it, then click Publish to put it live on your domain.

Step 1: open Sitejet Builder

Use whichever way is easier:

• From your client area: log in, go to your hosting service and click Edit with Sitejet Builder. You go straight in, without logging in to cPanel.
• From cPanel: log in to cPanel (see how to log in to cPanel), go to the Domains section and click Sitejet Builder.

Step 2: start a website and choose a template

1. Click Create a New Website and choose the domain the website is for.
2. Browse the templates and preview a few. Pick one whose layout is close to what you want. The colours and pictures are easy to change later; the layout is more work. There are tips in Choosing and customising a Sitejet template.
3. Select the template. The website editor opens with your new site.

Step 3: make it yours

• Change text: click on any text and type over it.
• Change a picture: click the picture and choose a new one.
• Add a section: drag a ready-made block in from the panel on the side.
• Pages: add, rename or remove pages from the pages list.
• Save as you go with the save icon at the top, and use the phone view at the top of the editor to check how the site looks on a phone.

Replace every bit of sample text, even with a short sentence of your own. Visitors notice leftover sample text straight away.

Step 4: publish

When you are happy, click Publish. Sitejet puts the website live on your domain.

After your site is live, Save means live. Once a site is published, every time you click Save your changes go straight to your live website. Use the eye icon to preview first, and if something goes wrong, the Backups option in the menu at the top left keeps copies saved every few minutes while you work.

Already have a website on this domain? Publishing replaces the files in your website folder. cPanel offers to make a restore point first, so say yes. If the domain is not pointing to Trinico Cloud yet, the site only shows once it is.
