Access cPanel from the dashboard

cPanel is the control panel where you manage your hosting account - e-mail addresses, files, databases, backups and security. Trinico Cloud single-signs you into cPanel from your client-area dashboard, so you do not need to remember a separate cPanel password.

The single-sign-on route (recommended)

  1. Log in to your Trinico Cloud client area at clientarea.php
  2. Click Services in the top navigation, then choose your hosting plan from the list (e.g. "cPanel Website Hosting - yourdomain.co.za").
  3. On the service detail page, scroll to Quick Shortcuts and click Login to cPanel. A new tab opens with you already logged in - no extra password required.

The direct-URL route (for bookmarks)

If you prefer to bookmark cPanel directly (or your single-sign-on session has expired), every Trinico Cloud cPanel account is accessible at:

  • https://yourdomain.co.za/cpanel - works once your domain is pointed at our nameservers and SSL is issued.
  • https://server-hostname:2083 - works immediately, even before your domain has propagated. The hostname appears on your welcome e-mail.

Your username and password are in the New Account Information e-mail we sent when your hosting was activated. If you cannot find it, you can reset the cPanel password from the same Service page in your client area - look for Change Password under Quick Shortcuts.

Inside cPanel - the most-used sections

  • E-mail Accounts - create and manage mailboxes on your domain.
  • File Manager - upload, edit and delete website files in your browser.
  • MySQL Databases - create databases for WordPress and other apps.
  • Backups - download or restore from daily backups.
  • Softaculous Apps Installer - one-click install for WordPress, Joomla, Magento and 400+ other apps.
  • Sitejet Builder - the free drag-and-drop website builder included on every plan.
  • SSL/TLS Status - your free SSL certificates and renewal status.
